After failing to receive any job offers after graduating from law school, the story's protagonist is forced to return to her teenage summer job of being a beach lifeguard. On her first day back on the stand, she experiences a comical encounter with a wild, unleashed labrador retriever.

A short story of mine was published in Literary Heist's 2018 Winter Issue.

The story revolves around Charles, a child with dwarfism. Charles moves to his recently deceased grandfather’s lake house with his sometimes-excessively worried mother. When his mother leaves for the day, Charles embarks on an epic kayak journey to Wards End.
